Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada
Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada’ reunites actor Silambarasan director Gautham Vasudev Menon and music director A.R.Rahman after the classic super hit ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya’. The marks the debut of Manjima Mohan as the female lead.
The film went on floors in early 2014 but was postponed as Gautham got busy with the Ajith starrer ‘Yennai Arindhaal’. The shoot resumed after the release of ‘YA’ in February 2015.
Major portions of the story are said to occur during the night in this romantic film with thriller elements in it. The film has been produced by Gautham under his Photon Kathas banner and S.Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures has taken over the release rights. .
Australian Cinematographer Dan Macarthur who worked in GVM’s ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ has been retained for this film also as the Director of Photography. Anthony is the Editor of the film.
The music launch of the film happened in June and all the songs composed by the double Oscar winner and lyrics by Thamarai have become instant chartbusters. Especially the ‘Thalli Pogathey’ number which was released as the first single track in January this year has become a massive hit among youngsters and music buffs.
The song was shot in Thailand in September. The completion of this song marked the completion of the film and now the film is ready.
The makers plan to release ‘AYM’ in November.
