The content of this film is as if it is derived for the purpose of remaining novel. The approach is laudable but not the treatment for the content.
For getting a companion to the aged singular is not a new thought. This is what called as living together in the modern days. The widow secluded in four walls giving all care to next generation and not looked after self is a real boredom. In this case of protagonist mother and professor becoming companions is one sided. When Kavitha Laneksh made `Preethi Prema Pranaya' the aged one in the houses finding the living alone is difficult meet as friends and decide to stay in the company at the last leg of life.
The protagonist of 'Achchu Mechchu' Vijay in custody of his father letter convinces his mother Savitha (Veena Sunder) by force to accept Prof Purushottam (Achyuth Rao). Purushottam on the other hand is anxious to get Savitha as his life partner because he lost a lady of similar looks 20 years ago.
Now the problem is the don Jagadish. Purushottam disagreed to marry don sister Swapna (Veena Sunder) who ended her life. The main reason behind Purushottam agreeing for marriage proposed by his student with his mother is after finding similarity of Swapna in Savitha.
In the Kalyan Mantap don Jagadish sets marriage of his second sister Shradda and that becomes a problem for Vijay. It is time for Vijay to pose a challenge and create confusion for don Jagadish.
When don Jagadish sees Vijay mother Savitha as bride for Professor Purushottam he turns sentimental. Don Jagadish sister is similar to Savitha in looks.
For actor Tarun it is easy going. He has naught looks wherever it was necessary. Veena Sunder and Achyuth Rao good in their roles and it is not very challenging for Shobaraj.
One song from Neel is good out of four. Camera work of Nagesh Acharya is dull probably because of transferring of the film to hard disc to project via cube.
