Prasahanth's next gets a Rajinikanth title

Actor Prasahanth was one of the leading heroes of the 1990s. He acted in the film 'Saahasam' after long gap and that film released in 2015 but failed to make any positive impression.

Now we learn from a reliable source that Prashanth's next film has been titled as 'Johny'. This is the title of the 1980 Rajinikanth starrer directed by Mahendran.

The new 'Johny' will be directed by debutant Vetriselvan, a former associate of Jeeva Shankar of 'Naan' and 'Yaman' fame. The makers have obtained the permission from the makers of 1980 'Johny' to use the title.

Telugu actress Ananya Soni will be playing the female lead in this film alongside Prashanth. The shooting is expected to start soon.
