In a shocking incident, young actor Uday Kiran who was once the most sought after lover boy hero in the Telugu Film Industry committed suicide and died instantly. He was 33 and was survived by his wife Vishita whom he married in 2012. Though the exact reasons are unknown, the primary reports suggest that the actor was depressed about his career and financial status as well.

As per the clues team investigation, Uday Kiran was alone in his apartment at Srinagar Colony last night as his wife went to a birthday party which he was supposed to join too. When he didn’t join even after 10 pm when he hadn’t turned up and stopped picking phones for over two hours, his wife came rushing back home when she saw him hanged. It was learnt that Uday called up his friends before the attempt and after that stopped picking their phones as well.

Uday Kiran shot to fame with director Teja’s film ‘Chitram’, their debut as hero and director respectively and immediately followed it up with successes like ‘Nuvvu Nenu’, ‘Manasantha Nuvve’, ‘Nee Sneham’, ‘Sriram’ etc. He was also engaged to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter which broke up controversially soon. Then his graph steadily declined and audience almost forgot him eventually. He was last seen in an action entertainer ‘Jai Sriram’.

Hero Srikanth and Composer RP Patnaik expressed their disbelief over the actor’s decision to end his life and said he was always a man of courage and the news comes as a great shock. The actor’s life will stand out as a classic case of a middle class boy growing to heights, name and fame and unable to sustain the same, dropping steadily and finally, ending in a rude manner.

IndiaGlitz prays for the actor’s soul rest in peace.
