Actress files case against Seeman, who denies charges

Vijayalakshmi, who made her debut in Kollywood with ‘Friends’, the Vijay-Suriya starrer, and was recently seen in ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ playing Nayantara’s sister. She filed a complaint against Seeman.

In her complaint to the police, the actress alleged that the popular director and the chief co-coordinator of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam was refusing to marry her after maintaining a close relationship.

“Vijayalakshmi and Seeman have been meeting regularly for the last three years. Since he refused to marry her, Vijayalakshmi was forced to approach the police to take legal action against Seeman,” sources close to the actress said.

However, circles close to Seeman have denied allegations made against him by actress Vijayalakshmi that he had refused to marry her after maintaining relationship.

“Vijayalakshmi had met him asking his help for her sister's divorce. Apart from that, there is nothing between the director and the actress. This is an attempt to tarnish his image,” a source close to Seeman said.

Remember Seeman busy toured Tamil Nadu during the recently concluded Assembly elections and campaigned against the Congress party and its alliance partners for not lending a helping hand to Lankan Tamils.

The complaint against Seeman has been forwarded to the T Nagar Deputy Police Commissioner. It is expected that the actress would be summoned for inquiry today.
