“Adavadi is not a spoof on any director or actor in Tamil film industry. All characters are imaginary and in no way resemble any living personality,” says director Bharath Hanna.

The director’s words would hopefully address the misgivings of many in the industry that have wrong notions about the movie.

Engrossed with the post-production works, Bharath Hanna says, “The movie is about a director falling in love with an actress.”

“Whether he manages to make it big in the industry after the romance forms the crux of the story.”

Shivaraj, who directed Sathyaraj's Adithadi, has changed his name to Bharath Hanna.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Sathyaraj. He never interferes in my work. Sathyaraj is a director's actor,” he says and adds, “An Iranian beauty Parvesh is introduced in the movie. She was given intense training to act.”

This movie based on a Kannada flick, which starred Upendra in the lead role, will release in the first week of December.

Suja, Y G Mahendra, Vaiyapuri are also in the cast.
