Ehsaan Hydari, father of actress Aditi Rao Hydari, passed away yesterday, early morning (25th Feb) after battling with lung cancer. Ehsaan who was in his early 60s reported to have been in the last stages of the cancer.

Aditi, who was applauded for her last film ‘Murder 3’, is the only child of her parents. Since her father was diagnosed with the illness she had been shuttling to and fro, from work to hospital, to be his side. Although she was very much attached to her father, Aditi in an interview had said that she always found the relationship difficult and have struggled with it.

Tweeted the bereaved ‘Delhi-6’ famed actress, "Will miss you baba... Hope you are happy and at peace... RIP...:(."

Ehsaan Hydari was cremated, as per his wishes. His last rites were performed yesterday at 11.30 am at Shivaji Park Crematorium, which was attended by his near and dear ones.
