It has long been rumoured that a sequel to Aditya 369 was being planned by director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. Since the innovative filmmaker was involved for long with a film on Jesus Christ, which never took off owing to financial constraints, the idea remained on the paper.

With Balakrishna's dates available, producer Vinod Suryadevara is said to be seriously planning to formally announce the film's launch. Thus, Singeetham, who was to direct Pawan Kalyan, will be busy giving a new image to Balayya in this promising sequel.

It will be interesting to see if the film belongs to the sci-fi genre. In this era of high cost films, the budget might just touch the sky. The technical team that will work for the film will be curiously reported about too. Like Eega, this sequel may come to occupy a pride of place. The buzz is that it may be made as a bi-lingual (Telugu and Tamil).
