Actor Karthi has started acting in director Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' and the shooting has been progressing in Ooty since last week. He has also completed shooting for 'Kaashmora' which will be hitting the screens for Diwali

After completing 'Kaatru Veliyidai' Karthi is likely to team up with director H.Vinoth of 'Sathurangavettai' fame . Now we have learnt an interesting information about the character that will be played by Karthi in this film.

A source reveals that Karthi will be acting as a police officer in Vinoth's film. If this is true that highly talented actor will be donning the Kakhi attire for the second time in his career after the 2011 super hit 'Saguni'.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
