After delivering two bak to back blockbusters 'Raja Rani' and 'Theri', young director Atlee is presently busy shooting for 'Thalapathy 61' which is also his second consecutive film with Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

Recently Atlee participated in the audio release function of 'Baahubali 2' held in Hyderabad. This is the first time Atlee is taking part in a audio release function of a Telugu film.

This added strength to rumours that Atlee will be directed 'Baahubali' hero Prabhas in his next film.

Sources say that Prabhas will be teaming up with director Sujith for a Telugu film and he wanted Atlee to direct the Tamil version of the film and Atlee has also agreed to the same after listening to the script.

Another section says Atlee will direct a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Prabhas in the lead and that will be the former's debut Telugu film.

The truth may be either of the above two theories mentioned above but it looks almost certain that Atlee will team up with Prabhas for his next.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
