According to the government of Karnataka sources the Bollywood beauty with roots from Karnataka Aishwarya Rai has been invited for the inaugural event of the World Kannada Conference on 11th of March 2011. NR Narayanamurthy the proud Kannadiga founder of Infosys Company will be doing the inauguration of WKC. The national poet Rashtrakavi Dr GS Shivarudrappa and Jnanapeeth award winner Dr UR Ananthamurthy also grace the dais with NRI from Dubai NR Shetty, Union foreign affairs minister SM Krishna, Karnataka chief minister Dr BS Yediyurappa and others.
The cultural event has the big names like Hariprasad Chaurasia, Dr M Balamuralikrishna, Dr SPB and others. The Karnataka film industry is getting ready with one and half an hour feast at the World Kannada Conference.
