Aishwarya dazzles in red; meets French President Francois Hollande

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked like a classic beauty as she met the French President Francois Hollande recently. On the Republic Day, French Ambassador Francois Richier had hosted a luncheon in Delhi which was graced by select high-profiled personalities from various fields of profession. Mr.Hollande was invited as a special guest for the Republic Day celebration, held in the capital city.

Our gorgeous diva was the only Bollywood celebrity in this guest list, as few years back she was honoured with the prestigious Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters (a civilian award by the French government).

Aishwarya dazzled as she graced the prestigious function wearing lovely red traditional Banarasi saree, specially designed by designer duo Swati and Sunaina. It is said that the saree was made of fine mulberry silk and the intricate zari on it was made from pure silver threads dipped in gold.

The 'Jazbaa' beauty got to interact with Mr.Hollande and they apparently discussed Bollywood films and Aishwarya's Cannes experience.
