Looking elegant as ever, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan graced the L'oreal Femina Woman of Worth Awards held in Mumbai, on the 19th of March 2013. She was there to award the Readers Choice Award in the category of Social Impact.The winner of this segment Chetna Gala Sinha was awarded this honour by the hands of Aishwarya.

Speaking at the occasion, the former Miss World said, "L'Oréal Paris, with its tag line - ‘Because You’re Worth It’ has always encouraged women to empower themselves, feel beautiful from within and lead an extraordinary life.

Today I will be presenting the award for Social Impact which talks about women who have done phenomenal work to create solutions that have impacted the lives of so many people and I very strongly relate to the causes that these women are working towards".

She further added, "The woman who has been nominated in this category represents the changing face of modern India and the great success that lies ahead for our country".
