As we all know that 'Thala' Ajith will be teaming up with director Siva for the third time after the super hit 'Veeram' and 'Vedalam'. This will be the 57th film of the much loved actor.

Earlier it was said that the official announcement on this film which will be produced by the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films banner will be made on May 1 to mark the occasion of Ajith's birthday. But that did not happen.

Now we learn from a reliable source that tomorrow Ajith and Siva will formally meet the producer and sign for the film on Thursday. Further to this the official announcement on 'Thala 57' can be expected any time in this month and the shooting shall begin in July.

The 'Vedalam' team of music director Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Vetri and art director Milan are expected to be retained for 'Thala 57'.
