Ajith Kumar is one of the most talented heroes of South India today. It is, thus, not surprising that he has bowled over no less a legend than Sridevi with his acting performance on the sets of English Vinglish. The actor, who was shooting for this film in Mumbai on Monday, wowed even director Gauri and producer Balki with his intelligent output.

Ajith will be seen in a cameo in the movie, which marks the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, wife of acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker R Balki who is also the producer of the film.

'English Vinglish' is the story of a woman's struggle with the English language and the insecurities she faces as she isn't well-versed in it. The film shot mostly in New York captures her transformational journey. Amitabh Bachchan has done a cameo in the Hindi version of the movie.
