Ajith with Sridevi in English Vinglish

Ajith shot for a cameo appearance in English Vinglish on August 13 at a Mumbai studio. However, he will be seen only in the Tamil and Telugu versions of the trilingual (Hindi - Tamil - Telugu). Helmed by Gauri Shinde, the film showcases Sridevi as a helpless housewife who is mocked at by everyone due to her not knowing English and her efforts to master the language.

The film sees Amitabh Bachchan in a guest appearance in the Hindi version, which is played by Ajith in the south versions. Priya Anand is also seen in the film. English Vinglish releases simultaneously in all three languages on October 5.
