Talking of sports, Ajith is doing far better on the racing track than even his devoted fans thought. That, at least, is the point spouse and former star Shalini is anxious to drive home.

Though no authority on racing as Mandira, arguable, is on cricket, Shalini talks the expert's language in an interview to popular Tamil magazine 'Kungumam'. In the Scholarship Class of British Formula 3 Championship held in London earlier this month, she says, the actor came ninth in the first race, then sixth, and finally third. "The day is not far of when he will achieve his ambition", she asserts.

"Tell him, 'You will win, you will win', and he will win. He will do India proud", she adds.
