He is handsome, he is a doctor, and now he is having a good run chasing good roles in the film industry down south! If you are clueless about whom we are discussing - it is actor Ajmal.

Playing an angry young man in 'Anjathey,' and working with Mohanlal in 'Madambi,' a Malayalam film, Ajmal's career graph took a turn definitely in the upward direction when K.V. Anand’s 'Ko' was released this holiday season.

Vasanthan Perumal was noticed by everyone and now the actor has landed himself in yet another negative role, thanks to the positive reviews he got for his negative role in 'Ko.' This Telugu film is titled 'Racha', where he will play villain to Ramcharan Teja. Tamannah Bhatia is the heroine for this project which went on floors last month.

Ajmal will essay a soft-spoken, suave bad boy with dollops of attitude. It looks like Ajmal is not in the least perturbed by getting type-casted as a villain. As far as the role is concerned it looks like this film will fetch more fans for the actor from the Telugu speaking crowd too!

The first shooting of 'Racha' is going on at a brisk pace from Sri Lanka. This film is being made under the Mega Super Good films banner and directed by Sampath Nandi.
