Akshay no to ‘Harischandra Ghat’

After the muhurut attending three days of shoot for close up and montage shots actor Akshay of ‘Ganga Cauvery’ fame has declined to be a part of his second film ‘Harischandra Ghat’. The reason for opting out is because of the criminal connections of the film producer cum director BP Srinivas. BP Srinivas is facing the cheating case (In a criminal case — he is accused of cheating a Goa-based educational institution Shiroda group of institutions managed by Shivgram Educational Society to the tune of Rs.13.07 lakh on the pretext of providing it with a loan of Rs.10 crore).

The same BP Srinivas made a film ‘Mussanjeya Gelathi’ with his daughter as heroine and he as a professor that bombed very badly in the box office. Claiming that this is for the first time the film ‘Mussanjeya Gelathi’ a father and daughter playing lead roles (professor and student) the very poor quality in making burnt crores of rupees for BP Srinivas.

Speaking to this correspondent Akshay said he is getting ready for another project. On Wednesday afternoon Akshay father R.V.Venkatappa producer of ‘Ganga Cauvery’ announced that his son is withdrawing from the film ‘Harischandra Ghat’.
