Alajadi, directed by Sri Mallikarjun, is a socio-fantasy flick littered with elements of romance. It is a story of four young pairs. Taking place partly in forest and partly in city, the characters have a connection with something as old as 200-years-old.

They work as journalists for a tv channel, and they all go to a Kerala forest to carry out a sting operation. The film was shot in Hyderabad and locations in Kerala like Allappey.

Having done with the RR, the film is currently in the DTS mixing stage.

It stars Anwit-Vinni, Balaram-Ritika, Laddu-Radhika, Ravi-Shweta, Kadambari Kiran, Asmita, Melkote, Kondavalasa and others.

Dialogues are by Shiva Sekhar. Lyrics are by Mukkamala Srinivas and Jayasurya. Music is by Vandemataram Srinivas (his RR, says the director, will be a major highlight). Photography is by Thota Venkataramana. Editing is by N Srinubabu.
