Going by her instant success rate - Highway` and 2 States`, Alia apparently had struck the Kapoor bachcha with her impressive performance and so he was interested to share screen with her. And looks like Ranbir`s close buddy and filmmaker Ayan Mukherji has similar thoughts.

Of late speculations are rife that the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani` famed director is thinking of bringing together Ranbir and Alia for his next project. Although he has not confirmed about this casting, Ayan claimed that he is currently getting the script ready and yet to decide on the lead pair. However, sources feel that the young filmmaker is indeed considering of making Ranbir and Alia the next hot Jodi on the block.
