Amala Paul GalleryAmala Paul is doing the lead role in Amma Kanakku produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films. The film is the Tamil remake of the Hindi flick Nil Battey Sannata and Ashwini Iyer, who directed the original, is directing the Tamil version as well.
Interestingly, Amala Paul will be seen playing the mother of a 13-year-old in this drama.
Dhanush wanted her to come to his office and watch a film. She watched the film and felt that it would be great if she gets to play the mother's role in the remake. Dhanush said he wanted her to play the role and she instantly gave the nod.
The shooting of Amma Kanakku was completed last month. Veteran actress Revathy and Samuthirakani are playing importance role in this flick which will have Maestro Ilaiyaraja's musical score.
