Vidyut Jamwal from Bollywood crossed swords with Vijay in 'Thupakki'. Now for the Ilayathalapathi's forthcoming film with director Vijay, the baddie is being imported from Mollywood.

We are talking about Rajeev Pillai, who has bagged the meaty role in this yet untitled movie, thanks to his good friend Amala Paul.

"Rajeev Pillai and Amala are friends since their modellling days and it was the Mynaa actress who recommended Rajeev's name to director Vijay when he was looking for a right person to do the role," sources said.

The Vijay-Vijay film was formally launched recently. It will have music by G V Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Nirav Shah, the two inevitable members of director Vijay's team.
