Just the other day, we reported that Amala Paul is planning to divorce her husband, director AL Vijay. With Vijay saying that he doesn't want to comment on the divorce rumours and that he will follow his parental decision on the issue, speculations have only become rife.
Vijay reportedly is only abiding by his parents' stance on Amala Paul continuing to dabble in movies "even after marriage". The talented actress slowed down on signing movies after her marriage in 2014, but she has since acted in Malayalam and Tamil, opposite the likes of Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly, and Suriya. Apparently, Vijay's parents are not happy with their daughter-in-law's this professional stint.
The actress-director duo fell in love during the making of Deiva Thirumagal (Nanna in Telugu). They went on to marry after getting parental consent on both sides. News about their separation has come as a shocker for many.
