Amala Paul may not be doing straight Telugu movies, but she is quite busy in Kollywood and to an extent in Tamil as well. VIP2` (to be released in Telugu as well) with Dhanush and Bhaskar Oru Rascal with Arvind Swamy are her next two important releases.
Latest, she has been signed to play female lead's role in Nivin Pauly's forthcoming Malayalam movie. A period film titled Kayamkulam Kochunni`, it's been directed by Roshan Andrews.
The film is about a Robin Hood-like real-life local hero who famously robbed the rich to distribute it among the poor on the highways. He lived in the 19th Century. Amala Paul will play his romantic pair.
