Ambarish is ‘Chowdaiah’

The greatest exponent in violin instrument T Chowdaiah, popularly known as Pitilu Chowdaiah of Mysore is the first violinist to make new discoveries. He is the grandfather of Ambarish – 200 films actor, former minister, great human being. T Chowdaiah popularity is so good event today that there is Chowdaiah Memorial Hall built in violin instrument shape by the Karnataka government.

Now the news is that grandson Ambarish is acting in a film that is titled as ‘Chowdaiah’. Ambarish before coming to cinema from ‘Nagarahavu’ in 1972 was accompanying his grandfather in the classical programs.

Ambarish at the ‘Kirataka’ audio release disclosed that he has got one big film in his life and would announce it when the time comes. ‘Chowdaiah’ film is the one it is learnt.

The multifaceted director S Narayan who is writing a column in film weekly ‘Aragini’ is directing the film and producing it too.

‘Chowdaiah’ announcement is coming on 29th of this month – 59th happy birthday of Ambarish. The grandson in grandfather name cinema is launching in a grand style says Narayan.
