The media meet started at the premises of Vikram Hospital, Ambarish nephew Madan represented the family to disclose the news of recovery in the health of Ambarish. The media and fans that thronged the media meet demanded that Sumalatha Ambarish should come and address.

Sumalatha Ambarish - ‘Channagiddare, Arogya improving, he is taken care by best doctors, at this time we need cooperation. Do not spread wrong rumors. This is leading to lot of outside people calling up. Media should understand at this point of time. Cooperate with us. Ambarish Avaru Bahala bega Barthare, we need privacy and cooperation. Sumalatha Ambarish folded hands and did not take any questions from the media.

Dr Satish Pulmonologist briefed on the health condition of Dr Ambarish later on. Dr Ambarish took the right decision of coming on Friday night to the hospital. We knew his case of respiratory problem and sleeptamia. It was possible for us to give treatment to lung infection and other ailments. As the breathing problem was not good in the early morning of Saturday and we put him on ventilator. That is not dangerous. Ventilator is given for a person to breath properly and sedation given to him was because we want to set right other infection in the lungs, kidney treatment etc.

Dr Ambarish has no BP and the team of doctors here were aware of his medical records. In next 24 hours we will take a decision on reducing the ventilator. We cannot immediately tell how fast he could be put to ward. He is given some proteins and food given is in liquid form.

Dr Ambarish health improvement is closely watched at Vikram Hospital doctors Dr Satish, Dr Ranganath Nayak, Dr Vikram, Dr Raghunandan, Dr R Ravish, Dr Sudhir Pai, Dr Vijayakumar.
