Ameer is leisurely screening his ‘Yogi’ to everyone who is close to him. Last Friday he had screened the film to editor Mohan, Kalaipuli G.Sekaran, Rama Narayanan and Abhirami Ramanadhan.

After the show everyone except editor Mohan had cheered Ameer and left the place. Editor Mohan said he will call him over phone later and left the place without giving any comment. Puzzled and worried with Mohan’s behaviour Ameer had gone to Mohan’s house.

There Ameer was surprised to see Mohan welcoming with bright smile and lauded the director-turned-actor for his exceptional acting in ‘Yogi’. Sources say that Mohan has also requested and suggested Ameer to take up an important role in ‘Kannabiraan’. But Ameer had asked a little time to think about acting in that role. Jayam Ravi and Raja who is in Malaysia right now had also requested Ameer to be a part of ‘Kannabiraan’. This particular role is that of a youth from a Muslim carpenter family, who make sacred cars (Theru) for the deities of Hindu Gods.

During Yogi’s audio launch function Jayam Ravi had candidly said, “There was a time when directors thought that actors drink juice and get their salary without any difficulties. But these days we have a lot of directors turning as actors, they have become conscious about the problem of an actor. At least to know the pain of an actor, directors must come forward to act.”

Let’s wait to see if Ameer accept Jayam family’s offer…
