Amitabh Turned Down 'Enthiran'

The Bollywood biggie Amitabh Bachchan is a versatile actor and by self confession, an artiste open to almost any good role. The actor gave an interview to a leading English magazine at the closing ceremony of Indian cinema's centinary yesterday, and revealed that he was offered a role in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran'. "I was offered the villian's role in 'Robot ('Enthiran').

But when I cross checked with Rajinikanth, he suggested that I must not do that role, and I turned down the offer to act as Dr Bohra. But I am open to doing any role, as long as I find it good and challenging" said Big B.
