Director Bharathan`s comeback film Aththi` starring Nanda and Ananya in lead roles released over the weekend and it has been receiving positive reviews. The thriller film with an unexpected twist in the climax has made the film likeable and different.

While it is well known that the film is the official Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit film Cocktail` what remained unknown for long is that the Malayalam film itself is a complete rip off of Pierce Bronson`s Butterfly on the Wheel`.

Interestingly the producers of the Tamil film Ramakrishnan Nair of Spellbound Films banner has paid the price for the remake rights for a film that has been inspired from a Hollywood film.
