Versatile actor of Kannada cinema Ananthnag with rich experience since three decades attacking the recent quality less films made in Kannada says the concern of a producer that is supported well by the creative director could only make something sensible on silver screen.

Noticing a lot of producers and director coming to this profession and not gaining a ground Ananthnag has decided to take worthwhile scripts and act in noted banners.

An actor since ‘Sankalpa’ in 1972 is very busy today. He was no so much busy when he was a hero. Off late I am not acting but reacting in front of the camera. That is because most of the directors are not having the minimum concern of preparing a good script first says Ananthnag.

Taking leave from the hustle and bustle of city life Ananthnag often goes to the Ashram near Kasargod. When I go there it is time for introspection in life he says with a serious smile.
