Ananya has completed her portions for the film 'Shikaar' and has joined the team of her new film 'Ithu Nammude Katha'. She will be shooting with Asif Ali and Nishan. The film has also a third male lead and that part is played by Abhishek.

'Ithu Nammude Katha' is directed by Rajesh Kannankara who had directed many popular television dramas like 'Sthreejanmam' and 'Mizhiyoram'.

Ananya though made her debut in Malayalam with the film 'Positive' it was her Tamil film ‘Naadidigal’ that gave her big recognition.

Interestingly in her just completed film ‘Shikaar’ her Tamil mentor Samuthirakani is playing the villain. In ‘Shikaar’ Ananya plays the daughter to Mohanlal and Sneha couple.
