The remake of Tamil film 'Pitamagan' – 'Anatharu' starring superstar Upendra and challenging star Darshan, Radhika, Sanghavi and Ramba in an item song is hitting the screen for Upendra's birthday on September 18. The mono print of the film is ready and DTS will be mixed soon says producer Munirathna speaking to media persons at Green House restaurant.

This is a very difficult film. It took more than a year to complete shooting. When I made 'Raktha Kanneeru' the difficulty was not so much because only Upendra was the star in that film. Here Darshan is also playing major role in the film. Adjusting the dates of these two popular stars was main task for me remembered Munirathna. I am doing the film out of passion but not to make profits he said without anyone asking.

Producer Munirathna also complimented director Sadhu Kokila as one of the best directors of Kannada cinema.

You would see the faith, loyalty and anger of a dog in the role of Upendra in 'Anatharu' says director Sadhu Kokila. There is no dialogue for Upendra. He has given very good expression in his eyes. Darshan enthrall the audience in a different way for his fans. Director Sadhu is of the firm opinion that it is difficult to make this kind of film.
