Plans are on to remake one of the biggest Vijay blockbusters 'Gilli' in Hindi. This announcement comes after 'Ghajini' has been remade in Hindi starring Aamir Khan and is slated for release on Christmas.
Harman Beweja who debuted in the Hindi film 'Love Story 2050' replaces Vijay in the remake and Deepika Padukone comes in for Trisha. K. S. Adhiyaman is expected to direct the film. 'Gilli' could never have been complete without the acting brilliance of Prakash Raj. Arjun Rampal will enact this character in Hindi.
Interestingly Harman Bewaja is also acting in a film called 'It's My Life' which is the remake of the super hit Telugu film 'Bommarillu'. 'Jayam' Raja had remade this film in Tamil as 'Santhosh Subramanium'.
