There is a general feeling that Telugu film stories are weird. After seeing Andagadu, the plaint will have more than a ring of truth. It is a story that somebody must have thought of when he was hallucinating or suffering from high fever. A normal mind could not have conceived such a plot.

The film is about an ad music director and his bad looks. The buck-toothed and thick-lensed Sundaram (Rajendra Prasad) cannot get a girl because of his 'bad looks'. So what does he do? Eeks, he goes to the nether world and tries to win over the spirited nymphets.

How grotesque!

Well, in the meantime, Ramya (Damini), who has a past, but wants to reach her future through Sundaram, convinces him that she is ghostly girl. She enters his household. What happens between them and what is her past is the rest of the story.

But by now no one will be interested. The film has as much attraction as the leftovers from dinner three days ago. Rajendra Prasad tries, in fact over tries and the effort shows.

This is his second straight film that goes into the world of spirits and ghosts. Damini is okay. The rest of the cast is scarcely bearable. The technical aspects are also on the negative side.

The director and scriptwriter Pendyala Venkata Rama Rao perhaps took a vacation while the film was being made.

Even the ghosts will be offended.
