Andrea Jeremiah as Annie in 'Thoppil Joppan'

Actress Andrea Jeremiah will play the character named Annie in 'Thoppil Joppan' who is Mammootty's love interest. The movie is being directed by Johnny Anthony and the shoot is on at Kottayam at a fast pace. While Mammootty plays the title role who is a kabaddi enthusiast, Andrea does the female lead as Annie.

The actress was in town for her shoot last month. Some more sequences will be canned soon and she is scheduled to join the sets by the end of June. Nishad is the scriptwriter.
