There is 'Thiruppangal' in Andrea Jeremiah's career. Yes, we mean it literally. The actress-singer is playing the female lead in a film titled 'Thiruppangal', directed by Sharadha Narayanan of the National Award winning 'Shringaram' fame. The protagonist is Nandha, whose 'Vellore Maavattam' hit the screens last week.

Says Andrea, "I am not supposed to reveal much about my role in Thiruppangal. But I can say that I am playing a journalist. It is a beautiful story and I have got a meaty role to play. Sharadha Narayanan is shaping up the movie in an interesting manner."

On her role (as Arjun's wife) in 'Mankatha', she says, "Though it is a boys' film where female leads don't have a big say in the script, I accepted the offer because of two persons- Ajith and Venkat Prabhu. I am happy about being part of the super hit movie."

Andrea, who is there in 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' in a crucial role, says, "It is a lively and memorable character. I had great fun on the sets of the movie, thanks to a bubbly cast and crew." In the meantime, she has dubbed for Ileana D' Cruz in Shankar's 'Nanban', which has Vijay in the lead.
