'Angamaly Diaries' finds cousin in Hyderabad diaries

'Angamaly Diaries', the Malayalam-language film which tells the story of a gang, has found its re-makers in Telugu.

Vishwak Sen of the yet-to-be-released 'Vellipomakey' fame will reprise the male lead's role in this untitled film. To be based in Hyderabad, the film will feature a whole bunch of new artists. A casting call has been given by the makers to attract wannabe actors.

The makers are looking at adapting the film to Telugu nativity.

A few directors are of late getting attracted to the neo noir genre and stylized gangster films. 'Vikram Vedha', which will also be remade in Telugu, is an example.
