Anirudh Ravichander is one of the top music composers and much sought after singer in Tamil cinema. After delivering so many chartbuster albums and evergreen songs in Tamil, the young hearthrob is also making his Tollywood debut with Pawan Kalyan's 25th project.

Anirudh entered film industry with Dhanush's production venture '3' which was directed by the former's cousin and the latter's wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush. The entire music album was a super hit and the 'Kolveri di' song became a worldwide sensation.

Since then Anirudh and Dhanush collaborated for many super hit films such as 'Ethinechal', 'Velai Illa Pattadhari', 'Maari' and 'Thanga Magan'. In other words Anirudh was the music composer of all the films produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films banner until last year.

However the continued association of the two highly talented professionals was broken when Dhanush announced that Santhosh Narayanan will be scoring music for 'Kodi'. When people thought this would be a flash on the pan, Sean Roldon was appointed to score music for Dhanush's debut directorial venture 'Power Paandi' and 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' the sequel to 'VIP'.

This lead to strong rumors and speculations that there is a personal enmity between Dhanush and Anirudh and the hit combo will never comeback again.

But all these rumors and speculations would be put to rest by Anirudh's latest open talk about not working in recent Dhanush films.

Anirudh said it was a deliberate mutual decision taken by Dhanush and him to stop working together for sometime and try new combinations so that fans can get to enjoy something different. He also said this is just a "break" and not a "break-up".

So from Anirudh's words we infer that he will score music for a Dhanush film again, sooner or later.
