'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum' for Pongal

Veteran Bharathiraja seems to have finalised a date to release his comeback movie 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum'. If sources are to be believed, the film will hit the screens on Pongal day.

"Since the movie is a rural entertainer and it revolves around Tamil culture and tradition, Bharathiraja wants to release it during the harvest festival," sources said.

They added: "Before that, the director is planning to hold a grand audio launch in Madurai. For that, he is planning to bring in Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Sridevi'.

It may be recalled that Kamal, Rajini and Sridevi played the lead roles in Bharathiraja's classic 'Padhinaru Vayadhiniley', which set a new trend in Kollywood.
