Rafi is directing, producing and acting in the film 'Inkennalu' (Voice of Telangana), which depicts the Telangana culture, tradition and history.

The Telanganites have a culture of expressing their feelings and demands through folk songs. In keeping with the tradition, the film gives much importance to the songs.

Says Rafi, "The film's story deals with the Telangana movement that has been going on for three generations now. We are not selling the film to amass money in the name of the movement. The film is a must-watch for all those who espouse the T cause."

Rafi also struck a discordant note by taking a dig at the FM stations, which do not play T songs in their stations. He says that it is proof enough to argue that the Telangana culture is disrespected by those who have made a fortune out of exploiting the resources of the region.

The film is coming up on the banner of Rafi Movies and Kusumanjali, Nagineedu and others are in the cast.
