Apparently hitting out at his ex-colleague Singamuthu with whom he had been crossing swords of late due to a property dispute, Vadivelu said on Monday that he would throw all the problems away.

Speaking at the audio launch of Karunas starrer ‘Ambasamuthiram Ambani’ in Chennai, he said, “The problem I have been facing now is like an ant in my pant. I will throw it away soon.” (Adhu vettikkul nuzhaindha erumbu madhiri…Nasukki thooki eriya vendiadhu thaan)

In his address, Vivek said comedians, who make others laugh, suffer a lot in their personal lives. “Problems are chasing us like anything. Something has to be done to put an end to all these issues,” he said.

He also urged for a welfare board to protect the interests of comedians. “It’s easy to laugh. But it is very difficult to make others laugh. We have to come out with varieties to sustain the interest of the masses,” he said.

Others who took part at the function were Karunas, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan, directors K Bhagyaraj, Shankar, K V Anand, Vettrimaran, Sun Pictures chief Hansraj Saxena, Grace Karunas, heroine of the film Navneet Kaur and director Ramnath.
