Tamil super star AjitÂs 50th film is finally getting shape. The film is titled ÂMangatha and ÂSaroja director Venkat Prabhu will be directing it instead of ÂYe Maaya Chesave Gautham Menon who was at first discussing the project.
Also there is another major change in the initially proposed star cast of the film. Anushka will sing and dance with Ajith replacing Samantha. Samantha was considered for the heroine role when Gautham was to do the film.
ÂMangatha is a big leap in the Tamil graph of Anushka as she is pairing with the third top hero all in the same year. After ÂVettaikkaran with Vijay and ÂSingam (Yamudu in Telugu) with Suriya, ÂMangatha with Ajith is a dream offer for Anushka.
The new Ajith-Anushka film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri.
