As we reported earlier Vishal`s Paayum Puli` directed by Suseenthiran and starring Kajal Agarwal and Soori is all set to hit the screens on September 4th. The same day Anushka`s historical film Rudhramadevi` starring Rana, Allu Arjun, Nithya Menen and Catherine Tresa was also scheduled for release. The film is a mega production on the lines of Baahubali` and a clash between Anushka and Vishal at the box office was anticipated.

The latest news coming in is that director-producer Gunashekar has postponed the release of Rudhramadevi` to a later date to be announced soon. Looks like Vishal is going to have a free hand at the box office as Paayum Puli` will then have a solo release.
