Anushka Sharma denies doing 'Paani'

Of late grapevines have been abuzz about Anushka Sharma being roped in to play lead in Shekhar Kapur’s much talked ‘Paani'.

Speculations were rife that the bubbly actress will star opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time in the movie.

However, the actress herself denied all the news as mere rumours and said that she is not part of the project.

Stated Anushka’s spokesperson, "There is no truth to this news and there has been no development on this at all till date."

Directed by Shekhar Kapur, ‘Paani’ is based in a future world where wars over water have broken out and amidst these chaos a love story blooms. The film is expected to go on floor mid-2013.
