A Court in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday postponed hearing in a case involving Anushka Shetty and others for buying a piece of land from people with fake documents, to April 16.

Along with popular Tollywood director SS Rajamouli's wife Rama, Anushka and others had reportedly bought a piece of land in Madhurawada in 2010, which allegedly belonged to an NRI. It is said that the purchase was made through some middlemen, who had fake documents.

Following this, a case was filed by NRI Lingamurthy, whose property at Boyapalem in Madhurawada circle, Bhimlee, has been allegedly sold by one Bullireddy to Anushka.

Anushka and five others bought land in survey number 358 in Madhurawada rural mandal allegedly with fake documents four years ago. The original owner, who used to stay in the US, K Lingamurthy came earlier; Anushka and others obtained stay order from the High Court to attend to Bhimunipatnam court.
