An actress with looks and substance, Anuya is yet to reach the peak despite being part of movies like 'Siva Manasula Sakthi' and 'Nagaram'. She is now hoping for the best in the high profile 'Nanban'.

A remake of Hindi hit ‘3 Idiots’, 'Nanban' directed by Shankar has Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth playing the lead role. Anuya is playing Ileana's sister in this movie produced by Gemini Film Circuit.

"I am thrilled to work with a director like Shankar. I am equally happy about my role in the movie, which has enough scope for me to perform," says the 'Madurai Sambavam' actress.

Saying that she is no hurry to sign movies and would wait for challenging roles, Anuya adds: "I was glad to hear from Shankar that he had watched ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and loved my performance."
