Even as Priyadharshan titled his comeback movie to Malayalam as 'Arabeem Ottakavum, P Madhavan Nairum' well before it's shoots, we were expecting a title change, especially due to the mention of a group of people referring to their nativity. A suggestion in that direction was also expected when the movie will be sent to the censors. But the change of title had happened well before that. And it is now learned that the new movie will be renamed as 'Oru Marubhoomi kadha', following tremendous pressure from NRI's in the gulf.

Though the initial title has got some great title value, it is feared to bring in Arab backlashes to the residents in the middle east as the movie may show some satirical elements in the life of the middle east, in the attempts to create that Priyan brand of slapstick humour.

Featuring Mohanlal, Mukesh,Bhavana and Lakshmi Rai in the lead, the movie is produced by by Ashok Kumar, Jamal Al Nuaimi and Naveen Shashidharan under the banner Jancos Entertainment.

Now this rechristened 'Oru Marubhoomikadha' will get to theatres as a Bakrid offering on the fourth of November, distributed by Seven Arts.
