This morning, a news about the release of 'Aranmanai 2' started spreading around. It was said that the Sundar.C directed horror-comedy has been certified with a clean U by the Censor board officials and the film will release on November 20.

The film stars Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika, Poonam Bhajwa, Soori and others in important roles. Musical score has been done by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi.

Sundar.C.'s wife Khushbu Sundar has produced the film under the Avni Cinemas banner and she has clarified that film's release will not happen in 2015 however a the first single will release on the Deepavali day. .
