Archana (also known as Veda) is in news for saying that she was once at the receiving end of casting couch. The talented actress of such films as 'Nenu', 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', 'Sri Ramadasu', 'Pournami', 'Yamadonga', 'Pandurangadu', 'Parama Veera Chakra' and 'Lion' has said that a hero once made an advance to her in return for offering a role in his movie.
"After the day's shooting was done, the actor suggested to me that I should give him something in return. I walked away telling him I am no one to give him anything. Consequently, the length of my character in that film was mostly edited out," the actress has been quoted as saying by a Telugu daily.
